I have been gone for a while, and while many of you have not realized it, others have been curious to know what may have pulled me away from my computer for four months. This is not common practice, they say. How did it happen? Well, it's like this...

My father is a computer technician for Rolls Royce Engineering, and has some skill with the computer. You need to know that to understand the rest.

Also, ever since I plagued our last computer with several hundred Spyware viruses, it has been against the rules at my house to get on the computer while my parents are away. I didn't know this. Actually, I did know that it did exist at one time, but did not know that it was still in effect. Silly me.

Anyway, I had spent a good deal of time playing EVE online, and because my parents wouldn't let me pay the monthly fee to play it, I had but 14 days to play out my free trial version, and I was going to get as much time out of it as I could. I mean, heck, it's a fun game.

So I was playing while my parents were away, while would not have pleased them. I still didn't know this, but it didn't matter. I didn't tell them anyway.

However, it happened one evening that my parents grew suspicious of my actions. My father then found the login files, which I had not deleted in some time, and pinned me down. I was swiftly grounded indefinetily, and went quickly into internet deprivation. It was horrible.

For four months of the summer, I had almost no contact with the world while at home. I didn't know of world events, things that were happening with my friends, ect. It was like being in a Sensory Deprivation Chamber, just with senses. I lacked the light of the monitor in me. I felt empty.

But school has started again, and so once again I can access the net. It won't be long until I can use my Gateway again. Then, once again, I wil organize my life via the computer. It has been a long, long summer my friends. But I am back. Weakened, indeed, but back.
